Terms & Conditions

Last updated 14 August 2026 · Cittago S.R.L., Cluj-Napoca, Romania

These terms govern your use of the Cittago website. By browsing or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Cittago S.R.L., a company registered in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Our full company registration details are available on request. You can contact us at .

2. Using the site

You may use this website for lawful purposes — to learn about our work, use our free tools, and get in touch. You agree not to misuse it: no attempts to disrupt the site, access it without authorisation, scrape it at scale, or use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone's rights.

3. Our content

The design, text, graphics, logo and other content on this site belong to Cittago or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Brand names and logos of our clients remain the property of their respective owners.

4. Free tools and information

Our calculators, page-speed check and other free tools are provided for general guidance. They give estimates and educational output, not professional advice, and results depend on the inputs and your device. We're not liable for decisions made solely on their output.

4b. The email-address exposure checker

The tool at /tools/email-exposure/ reads, at your request, up to 40 public pages of the website you submit — once, at the pace of an ordinary visitor, without submitting forms or logging into anything. By using it you confirm that you are entitled to request that scan: it is your own site, or you have its owner's permission. The screen shows aggregate numbers only; the list of addresses found travels exclusively to the email address you provide, precisely so the tool cannot be used to harvest somebody else's addresses. We limit the number of scans per connection, and the results are indicative — what the tool finds is real, but what it does not find is not a guarantee (see section 4). How the data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Alexia, our experimental AI assistant

The chat on this site is answered by "Alexia", an experimental assistant based on artificial intelligence. She is not a person, and she is labelled as AI throughout. Her answers are generated automatically from the content published on this website: they can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, and they are general information only — never professional advice, a quotation, a commitment on scope, timelines or price, or an offer of any kind. Nothing Alexia writes creates a contract or binds Cittago in any way, and you should not act on her answers without confirming them with a human. Anything that matters is confirmed by a person, in writing. Because the assistant is experimental, it may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time and without notice, and it may be unavailable when the daily usage limit is reached. Your messages are processed by a third-party AI provider outside the EU and are reviewed by us to improve the assistant, as described in the Privacy Policy — please do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information into the chat.

6. Cittago Pulse, our client reports

Cittago Pulse is a service under development, offered free of charge to our clients: private report pages covering search visibility, website traffic, uptime and loading speed. The figures come from Google Search Console, Google Analytics and our own continuous monitoring, and may differ from those in your own accounts: every tool measures differently, and Google publishes its data with a delay of a few days. The summary at the top of each report is written automatically by an artificial intelligence model from those figures; it may simplify, it may misread the context, and it is not professional advice. The report is a starting point for a conversation, not the sole basis for business decisions, and it creates no obligation for Cittago. Being experimental and free, it may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time and without notice, and its availability is not guaranteed. Report pages are private, protected by a password or a personal link, and are not indexed by search engines; please do not share the link further. We keep working on the accuracy of the data — if something looks wrong, tell us.

7. Quotes and services

Information about our services on this site is not a binding offer. Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement that sets out scope, deliverables, timelines and fees.

8. Links to other sites

We may link to third-party websites for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

9. No warranties

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cittago is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its tools. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Privacy

Our use of your data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here, with the "last updated" date above.
