BarBox
A mobile cocktail bar you book for the night
BarBox rolls a full cocktail bar up to your event — a bar truck, a mixologist behind it, and a menu built for the occasion. It works weddings, corporate nights and private parties across Cluj-Napoca, selling an experience rather than a product off a shelf. There is no shop to check out from; there is a night to imagine. The site had to make people picture that night, then ask to have it.

The challenge
You cannot taste a cocktail through a screen.
A mobile bar sells a feeling — the truck parked under string lights, a drink handed over as the music starts. That is hard to put in a brochure and harder to book from a directory listing. BarBox needed a site that carried the atmosphere first: the low light, the deep blues and purples, one red cocktail glowing on the bar. Get that wrong and it reads as just another catering line in a spreadsheet of quotes.
There is nothing to add to a basket here, so the whole site points at one thing — the enquiry. The visitor is usually planning something that matters, a wedding or a milestone, and deciding who to trust with the bar. The pages had to build the desire, show the truck and the mixology, then make asking for a date effortless — no digging for a form, no wondering what BarBox actually does.

What we built
Set the scene, then take the booking
We designed and built the site to feel like the room BarBox creates — black-and-white bones, then dark cinematic photography doing the talking. Cocktails shot close and lit from within, the barbox.truck as the hero, the whole thing running in deep blue and purple with a single lit red drink as the accent. The layout leads with mood and closes with intent: see the bar, read the signature menu, picture your night, then reach out. Every scroll moves toward the enquiry, never away from it.
Because there is no online shop, we made the ask the easy part. Event packages are laid out plainly so a couple or an organiser knows what they are booking, and a contact form sits a thumb's reach from every page, catching the enquiry at the moment the mood lands. Local SEO tuned for how Cluj searches — 'bar mobil Cluj', 'cocktail bar nunta' — puts BarBox in front of people already planning the night. It is fully responsive, because most of them are deciding on a phone.

In practice
What went into it
Web design
A black-and-white frame that lets dark, cinematic cocktail photography carry the atmosphere.
Web development
Built and shipped mobile-first, because the enquiry usually starts on a phone at a kitchen table.
Cinematic art direction
Deep blues and purples with one lit red cocktail as the accent, so the site feels like the bar at night.
Local SEO
On-page tuning for 'bar mobil Cluj' and 'cocktail bar nunta' so nearby planners find BarBox first.
The outcome
Enquiry-led
A contact form a thumb's reach from every page
Cinematic
Dark art direction that sells the night, not a menu
Local
SEO tuned for how Cluj searches for a mobile bar
Mobile-first
Built for the phones where most enquiries begin
BarBox now has a storefront as atmospheric as the bar itself — dark, cinematic and pointed at one action. Every visit lands a couple or an organiser one form away from booking the night. Live at barbox.ro.
