Today this site sets no cookies at all. Here is what that means, and what will change when analytics is switched on.
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on elahome.gr, and how to control them.
As this page is published, elahome.gr sets no cookies at all. The site is static: it serves pages and images, it has no form, no account and no shopping basket, and it does not need to remember anything about you in order to work.
That is about to change in one respect, and only one: we are adding Google Analytics so we can see how the site is used. It is described below, and it will not run unless you accept it.
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between page views or visits. Similar technologies — local storage, for instance — do much the same job. Some are needed for a site to function; others exist to measure or to advertise, and those need your permission.
If you accept, Google Tag Manager is loaded and it delivers Google Analytics 4. Neither is loaded at all before that point, and Tag Manager sets no cookies of its own.
These record how the site is used, not who you are: pages viewed, how long, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser, and the site or search that sent you. We do not link any of it to an enquiry, and the tools are not configured to allow that.
Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area, under the data-transfer safeguards set out in its own processing terms.
There are no advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels and no cross-site tracking on this site. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent separately before anything loads.
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. It reopens the banner and lets you change your answer. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and withdrawing does not affect anything that happened before. Declining after having accepted stops analytics from loading on your next page view; to remove what has already been stored, clear the cookies for elahome.gr in your browser.
You can also control cookies in the browser itself — block them, delete them, or be warned before one is set. The help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each explain how. Because this site needs no cookies to function, blocking everything will not break it.
Nothing loads. Analytics stays off until it gets a positive answer, and the banner will keep asking on future visits until you give one. Every page you can reach, every figure and every image stays fully available either way.
Once the site is open to search engines we will also verify it in Google Search Console. That works from Google’s own crawling and search data and sets nothing on your device.
If you want to know what we hold, ask us to delete it, or withdraw a consent you have already given, contact Viron Labaditis on +40 740 000 393.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, the supervisory authority for Greece (dpa.gr), or to the authority in the EU country where you live.
