Project Overview
Apuseni Peak Paradise is a high-end chalet complex situated at 917m altitude in the Apuseni Mountains, offering two premium cabins — Black Wolf and Savage Samurai — with facilities including jacuzzi, sauna, traditional ciubar, and a panoramic gazebo. The client needed a professional online presence capable of handling direct reservations end-to-end, reducing dependency on third-party platforms and automating the entire guest journey from booking to invoicing.

The Challenge
The business was fully reliant on Airbnb and Booking.com, paying commissions on every reservation with no direct booking channel. Calendar management was manual, creating real risks of double-bookings. There was no automated payment flow, no invoicing system, and no way to capture leads or reward loyal guests. Pricing was static and unable to reflect demand variations across weekdays, weekends, public holidays, or peak seasons like New Year’s Eve.
The Solution
A custom booking platform built on WordPress with Elementor Pro and WooCommerce as the commerce backbone — designed to bring the full reservation experience in-house.
The platform features a live availability calendar with dynamic pricing, configurable per day type: weekday (1,000 lei/night), weekend (1,250 lei/night), holidays (1,750 lei/night), and New Year’s Eve (3,000 lei/night). Guests can book either cabin individually or reserve the entire complex for larger groups.
Calendar availability is synchronized in real time across all three platforms — the website, Airbnb, and Booking.com — via automated cron jobs running every 15 minutes. A reservation made on any platform instantly blocks the dates on the other two, eliminating double-booking risk entirely.
Secure card payments are processed through Netopia Payments (Mastercard & VISA), with a 30% advance collected at booking and the remainder settled directly with the property. Invoicing is fully automated via Smartbill integration — no manual admin required. Guests receive automated email notifications at every stage of the booking flow.
The platform also includes a coupon and discount system, a Mailchimp-powered newsletter with a 10% first-booking incentive, and Google Analytics integration for traffic and conversion monitoring.
